One of the busiest on United States retail calendar is the week of Thanksgiving. Thanks to a plenty of ‘Black Friday’ advertisements making a possible nightmare for anybody working in the retail. Sarcastically, it is one of the quieter weeks on the gaming latest releases calendar this year, with such big hitters as Assassin’s Creed II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age: Origins coming earlier in the month.

For the regular gamers, the hottest retail release for the week of November 22 to 27 is the PlayStation Portable edition of the Tekken 6, which launched on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360xbox_360_ui_1 last month. The PlayStation portable edition packs in all forty lead characters and their move packs along with the challenge, arcade and story modes. Even though they won’t be obtainable in stores, now two latest downloadable games might also attract the gamer’s interest. EA releases its newest arcade-style version football game with the Madden NFL Arcade on PS3 and Xbox 360, as those same two stages would see 2K Games’ Dr. Ned’s ‘The Zombie Island’ , the initial add-on for the cooperative online shooter Borderlands. Information about the PC version of the ‘Dr. Ned’ would be announced soon. While the pickings are a quite slim for many gamers, there are some possible hits for more usual crowds visiting in stores this week. Ubisoft’s camera-equipped Wii fitness game ‘Your Shape’ staring Jenny McCarthy going to be launched this week, as does Konami’s new of the Karaoke Revolution on the PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
